Petal Dance (JFF)

Jinko and Motoko have been close friends since their university days. One day, they hear a rumour about their old friend Miki, who is now living in a psychiatric hospital after a suicide attempt. The two of them decide to pay Miki a visit as they have not seen her in six years. Haraki, who is an acquaintance of Jinko, decides to tag along as their driver. The road trip becomes a meditation on each of their lives and sorrows, as well as reconciliation for Jinko and Motoko`s guilt of not being able to help Miki before.
Filem arahan Hiroshi Ishikawa ini mengisahkan tentang dua orang wanita iaitu Jinko dan Motoko serta pemandu mereka Haraki dalam perjalanan untuk berjumpa dengan rakan lama mereka Miki yang tinggal di hospital mental selepas cuba membunuh diri. Jinko dan Motoko sudah tidak berjumpa dengan Miki selama enam tahun dan perjalanan ke hospital tersebut membuat mereka menyedari kesilapan mereka kerana tidak dapat menolong Miki sebelum ini.
