Aqerat (MIFFEST)

Hui Ling wants to leave for Taiwan but her savings have been stolen. Desperate for money, she accepts her boss` offer for a human trafficking job, which involves the Rohingya immigrants who are forced out of Myanmar by the Buddhist majority in the country. Her job progresses from merely being a photographer to a payment extorter. During all this, she meets a young hospital worker who thinks she might be someone from his past.
