The 8-Year Engagement (JFF)

Just three months before happy couple Hisashi and Mai are about to get married, a cardiac arrest causes Mai to fall into a coma. Even though Hisashi prays for her recovery and she eventually regains consciousness, yet another challenge awaits her. The movie is based on the non-fiction book, "8 Nen Goshi no Hanayome Kimi no Me ga Sametanara".
Filem yang diadaptasi dari buku "8 Nen Goshi no Hanayome Kimi no Me ga Sametanara" ini berkisarkan tentang Hisashi dan Mai yang sudah bertunang dan bakal berkahwin. Tiga bulan sebelum perkahwinan mereka, Mai mengalami serangan jantung, menyebabkan dia koma. Hisashi berdoa agar tunangnya pulih. Mai akhirnya sedar, tetapi perubahan baru menunggunya.
