Since his younger brother`s birth, Jack`s parents have always told him that baby Gio is "special", leading to him believing that Gio has superpowers like characters in comic books. As Jack grows older, he begins to realise Gio actually has Down`s Syndrome. He feels ashamed and keeps his brother`s existence a secret, especially from his new high school friends and his crush, Arianna. However, he comes to realise that he can`t hide an important part of himself and allows himself to be won over by his brother`s energy and unique outlook on life.

Jack mempunyai seorang adik lelaki istimewa, Gio, yang mempunyai sindrom Down. Dia mempercayai bahawa Gio dilahirkan dengan kuasa adiwira seperti yang diberitahu oleh ibu bapanya, tetapi kepercayaan itu hilang apabila dia meningkat remaja. Dia kemudiannya jatuh hati kepada Arianna dan merahsiakan kewujudan Gio daripada gadis itu serta rakan-rakan sekolah tingginya kerana malu akan ketidakupayaan adiknya itu. Namun lama kelamaan dia menyedari bahawa semua tidak bermakna jika dia tidak berlaku jujur dan keunikan Gio telah mengajarnya erti kehidupan.
