BTS confirms release date for first movie's worldwide screening

BTS is releasing their first movie, "Burn the Stage: The Movie".

16 Oct – The internet has been abuzz with news of K-Pop boyband BTS releasing their first movie in cinemas and now there's a release date attached to their "Burn the Stage: The Movie".

Limited screenings of the movie in cinemas worldwide will begin this 15 November.

In a press release from distributor Trafalgar Releasing, fans are encouraged to sign up on the movie's official site to find out more about the participating cinemas and for information on the tickets, which will be made available for purchase on the site beginning this 22 October.

Since local cinemas did not release any screening info for this movie at the moment, local BTS ARMY (BTS' fanclub name) will have to hang tight for now.

The movie follows the seven-member boyband during their "2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour", showing their journey of 40 concerts spanning 19 cities, drawing more than 550,000 fans.

It will also contain footage from the world tour, behind-the-scenes look at the members at their most candid moments together and interviews from the members.

Leader RM and fellow members Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook make up the South Korean group, whose band name means Bangtan Boys when translated from Korean to English, though BTS subsequently became known as the acronym for Beyond The Scene.
