9 Jun – Anya Taylor-Joy is one busy-bee.

After being cast in an upcoming prequel about "Mad Max" character Furiosa, it was revealed that the actress is now in negotiation to be part of an upcoming dark, comedic psychological thriller, "The Menu".

Taylor-Joy will be playing one half of a couple in the movie centering on a young couple who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef has prepared a lavish tasting menu. Ralph Fiennes may star as well, playing the role of the chef.

The upcoming movie will be directed by Mark Mylod, known for his work on "Succession" and "Game of Thrones", with "The Big Short" Adam McKay producing the project through his Hyperobject Industries banner.


Aside from "The Menu" and "Furiosa", Taylor-Joy is also set to star in the Viking drama "The Northman", the untitled David O. Russell star-studded film and Edgar Wright's "Last Night In Soho".
