25 Mar - Salman Khan couldn't help but expressed annoyance, albeit jokingly, after netizens questioned the age gap between him and his leading lady, Rashmika Mandanna in "Sikandar".

The actor, who attended the trailer launch for the movie alongside the 28-year-old actress, addressed the criticism against him, saying, "They say there's a 31-year age gap between me and the heroine. But if the heroine has no problem, and even her father has no issue, why do you have a problem, brother?"

"When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work with her daughter too. Her mother's permission will be sorted," he said, sparking laughter from the actress.

It is noted that Salman is turning 60 at the end of the year.

The movie is set to be released in theatres on Eid 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the synopsis read, "A fiery youth confronts a powerful network of corruption, challenging the status quo and fighting for the common people's rights in a nation gripped by injustice."
