18 Sept - After the release of Hans Isaac's comedy "Cuci" in January 2008, the actor-cum-director and producer has been busy working on "Cuci The Musical", now set to take centrestage at the Istana Budaya in Kuala Lumpur from 23 October 2009 to 8 November 2009. According to Isaac, the main structure of the script will remain, "but of course we had to change a few things to suit a musical. We had to adopt a bigger performance because this is going to be a live stage production. Executing a theatre play is not something that's easy. It requires a lot of financial support, even more than making a movie!" While the cost is high involving millions of ringgit, Issac said that he wanted what's best for the audience and to everyone involved in this production to ensure that the musical had its own unique quality and presentation. "Cuci The Musical" will see the following actors reprising their roles as Khai (Hans Isaac), Fairil (Afdlin Shauki), C'Tan (AC Mizal) and Jojo (Awie). However, some actors had to be replaced. For instance, Wira will to be played by Harith Iskandar, Vanidah Imran holds the character CJ, previously played by Erra Fazira, while Adibah Noor replaces Umie Aida in the role of Farah.
