15 Feb – Malaysian audiences were lucky enough to have "A Good Day to Die Hard" screened before their very eyes way before most countries, including the United States. The fifth instalment of the "Die Hard" franchise did extremely well, topping the weekend Malaysian Box Office chart. The film in Singapore took in second place by the long reigning champion, "Ah Boys To Men 2". The weekend for Hollywood takes a different turn with Melissa McCarthy's "Identity Thief" on top instead, but it won't be long before "A Good Day to Die Hard" will run this weekend after it's wildly successful premiere on Thursday. In second place for Malaysia is "Hantu Kak Limah 2", the Malaysian made sequel of the successful first film. Stephen Chow's very own "Journey To The West", local "Once Upon A Time", "I Love Hong Kong 2013", "Hotel Deluxe" and "Wedding Diary 2" ties the chart together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
In Singapore's third place is "Journey To The West". "The Grandmaster" takes fourth place and "Hansel and Gretel: With Hunters" still stay strong in Singapore in fifth place. In the US, "Warm Bodies" and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" lies after "Identity Thief" in second and third place respectively. "Warm Bodies" tells the story of a zombie who falls in love, and will premiere in Malaysia and Singapore on 14 March.
