7 Mar – After Harrison Ford recently confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Han Solo in Disney's upcoming "Star Wars" film, many have speculated whether Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will join him. Earlier, when Carrie Fisher was asked if she was going to return as Princess Leia for J. J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII", she responded with a simple yes. "She's in an intergalactic old folk's home. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle." Okay, so we should have known that it was a joke, with that statement. Fans were all buzzed about her return; only to have it announced today that it was just a joke by Fisher.
Mark Hamill might be the quietest of the lot by not giving in any confirmation to if he would return as Luke Skywalker, though he did say one thing, "I want to make sure that everybody's on board here, rather than just one." "Star Wars: Episode VII" is scheduled for a 2015 release.
