"Blood Brothers: Bara Naga" will hit the big screen on 10 April

8 Apr - Amidst the festive celebration of Aidilfitri, Skop Productions, in collaboration with Primeworks Studios as the official marketing partner, proudly presents "Blood Brothers: Bara Naga", a thrilling action film scheduled to hit cinemas across Malaysia on 10 April.

Set against the rarely explored theme of the mafia underworld in the local film industry, the film's premiere last night at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, offers audiences their first experience of an intense, gripping story that is set to shake the big screen!

Explosive action, devious crime, and high-stakes drama, the action-thriller is not just a film; it is an adrenaline-charged cinematic experience! Directed by powerhouse filmmakers Syafiq Yusof and Abhilash Chandra, every scene is meticulously crafted for maximum impact, amplified by breathtaking visuals and razor-sharp cinematography.

Boasting a stellar ensemble cast, the film features Sharnaaz Ahmad, Syafiq Kyle, Shukri Yahaya, Amelia Henderson, Syazwan Zulkifly, Andy Teh, Irfan Zaini, Wan Hanafi Su, Zamarul Hisham, Ray Dap Dap, and many more. Each actor brings their own unique presence, captivating audiences from start to finish with electrifying performances!

At the press conference following the premiere, director Syafiq Yusof shared, "This film is the result of two years of dedication. From planning and writing to filming and post-production, every step of the journey was fueled by the relentless effort of our cast and crew. I believe 'Blood Brothers: Bara Naga' will open a new chapter for our local film industry and inspire more works that can stand on the international stage."

Co-director Abhilash Chandra then added, "Working alongside Syafiq Yusof has been an incredible creative journey. This collaboration allowed us to push boundaries, crafting a story that is both raw and powerful. Every scene is infused with intensity and purpose, and I truly believe audiences will be drawn into the gripping world we've built."

The VIP guest at the premiere was the Minister of Communications, Datuk Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil. Among other notable guests were Datuk Dr. Yusof Haslam, Founder of Skop Productions; Datuk Hans Isaac, Chairman of FINAS; and Puan. Nini Yusof, Chief Executive Officer of Media Prima Television Networks and Primeworks Studios, along with many other industry figures.

Not just that, the premiere featured a powerful OST performance by Azlan Typewriter and Muzza, who delivered the track "Bara Jiwa". Opening with a mesmerising guitar riff, the song's lyrics highlight brotherhood, unity, and the unwavering promise to stand strong in the face of adversity. Using the Bara Naga metaphor, the track ignites a fierce determination, immersing listeners in a powerful tale of strength and survival.
