Chris Pratt joins "Jurassic World"

18 Jan – Rumours are rife that rising star Chris Pratt is joining the highly anticipated "Jurassic World", and director Ron Howard may have just confirmed it.

Empire Online reported that Ron tweeted a picture of his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris at the Golden Globes over the weekend, with the caption "Bryce and Chris meet for the 1st time on red carpet they will be co-stars in next Juraissic". Ron may have spelt "Jurassic" wrong, but there is no mistaking that he means "Jurassic World".

However, it is still early days yet before Chris can sign a contract. If he accepts there is a high chance he will play the "rugged, ex-military man named Owen whose foil is the already cast Bryce Dallas Howard."

So far, the confirmed cast members are child actors Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson, as well as Bryce Dallas Howard.

Get ready to see what Chris Pratt buffed up for in "Guardians Of The Galaxy".

Chris will be voicing the lead Emmet in the upcoming "The Lego Movie" and play Star-Lord Peter Quill in "Guardians Of The Galaxy".

"Jurassic World" opens on 11 June in Malaysia and Singapore.
