21 May – Following the success of last year's "Guardians of the Galaxy", which catapulted Chris Pratt into Hollywood leading man status, it comes as no surprise that the actor now has several movies lined up on his plate aside from the inevitable sequel. While it was a given that Pratt will be returning for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2", the extent of his contract with Marvel was recently revealed to be more than just the one title. "I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, "Guardians of the Galaxy" or whatever it is, you know, two more "Guardians" plus another couple," said the actor to GQ Magazine, hinting on the fact that he will appear in sequels and possibly spinoffs that will crossover with other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
This also means Pratt's MCU character, Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, may appear in movies such as the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" and maybe even 2019's "Inhumans". The 35-year-old, additionally, debunked rumours of him starring in "Indiana Jones" and "Ghosbusters" reboots, referring to the latter while saying , "No one has ever even spoken to me about that. Never." Pratt may not be in those reboots but he will be seen next in "Jurassic World" this 11 June, as well as 2016's "Cowboy Ninja Viking" and "Passengers", and 2017's "Magnificent Seven"
