27 Aug – Fans of ASEAN movies will be able to catch selected titles at the special ASEAN Film Screening marathon from today onwards. A total of 15 movies will be screened for five times daily at TGV Cinemas KLCC and GSC Pavilion KL from today until this Saturday. Some of the movies that will be screened are the 2014 Malaysian comedy drama "Cuak", the 2014 Indonesian biopic "Soekarno", the 2014 Bruneian martial arts drama "Yasmine" and the 2013 Singaporean drama "Sayang Disayang". The film marathon is part of KL Converge! 2015. The 3-day event is the second edition of KL Converge, and this year's theme is 'Convergence and Digital Inclusion', where it will showcase how technology and content is an everyday part of our lives Apart from the screening, there will also be talks and workshops not only by film experts, such as Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA), but also by the likes of award-winning Malaysian photographer Zung, Singaporean artist Johnny Lau, Jinnyboy TV Youtubers and more. KL Converge! 2015 takes place at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from today until 29 August.
