6 Apr – The sequel to last year's hit Marvel title "Guardians of the Galaxy" is expected to begin production early next year, as revealed by James Gunn himself on Twitter's new live-streaming app, Periscope. The director has been keeping fans updated by regularly posting about the project's development. His most recent announcement notifies fans that filming for the upcoming sequel is set to start in February 2016. This time filming will not be done in London, as it was with the first movie, instead it will be done at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. Even more exciting news is Karen Gillan will be back as Nebula, but this time around she might not have to appear with a shaved head. 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan and Djimon Hounsou as well as features the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. It made USD774.1 million after its August release last year. "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is slated for release on 4 May 2017.
