22 Apr – Liew Seng Tat's "Men who Save the World", a.k.a. "Lelaki Harapan Dunia", is continuing its world domination as it plays on international screen and competes in yet another film festival. The movie is currently being shown in selected French cinemas, as part of the cinema on demand programme run by I LIKE CINEMA in France, according to a press release. It will also be competing in the East Panorama section at the 33rd Fajr International Film Festival in Tehran, Iran, which runs from 25 April until 2 May 2015. Though it was only released in Malaysian cinemas last November, it made its world premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival in August 2014. Since then it has been selected for several film festivals at various international venues including Canada, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia and more. "Lelaki Harapan Dunia" stars Harun Salim Bachik, Soffi Jikan, Jalil Hamid and Azhan Rhani, in a story about a series of wild mishaps that befalls a Malay village which leads to misunderstandings and hilarious situations.
