23 Dec - Malaysian superstar, Michelle Yeoh will be in the season two of Netflix's original series, "Marco Polo". The 53-year-old landed a recurring role playing a mysterious figure from Hundred Eyes' (Tom Wu) past. In a news release, series creator John Fusco said Yeoh's role will "add even more intrigue, mystery and Asian martial arts to our rich story world." "Michelle Yeoh is not only a screen legend and one of the greatest international action stars of all time, she's one of the best actors of her generation. So we are thrilled to have her join one of the most diverse ensembles in television and bring her unique talents to "Marco Polo"," he adds. The actress cum producer has been involved in more than thirty films including "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", "Memoirs of a Geisha", "Mummy 3", "Babylon AD" and not forgetting "Tomorrow Never Dies" where she was a Bond girl. However, she has recently been blacklisted from entering Burma after taking the role of Burma's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi. This is not Yeoh's only relationship with Netflix as the actress is set to reprise her role in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" for sequel "Sword of Destiny", which will stream on Netflix and in select theaters on 26 February 2016.
