29 Oct – Singer and actress Datuk Sheila Majid is set to make her comeback on the silver screen with the upcoming movie, "Sinaran". It had been 30 years since the nation's jazz queen last appeared in a movie, which was in the 1985 "Ali Setan", but fans are still looking forward to her return, even if it is only in a cameo role. "To know my character, you will have to watch the movie," said Sheila to BH Online. "Even I haven't watched the whole movie. I've only seen the trailer." She added that she is excited to watch the Osman Ali feature that stars Lisa Surihani, Izara Aishah, Evan Sanders and more. It was a dream come true for her, the singer-actress revealed, when her songs were used as the soundtrack for the upcoming movie. Apart from that, seven of her old songs will be covered by other singers. Two new songs, "Sinaran Cinta" by Sheila herself and "Tanpamu" by Malaque Mahdaly, will also be featured in the movie. In related news, Sheila revealed that she is currently working on a new album. "Five songs have been recorded and there are only three left to go to complete the album.
