5 Jan – Since its release on 24 December 2015, "Ip Man 3" has gone on to punch through various records left and right. After previously making the news for grossing RM12 million in just 4 days, now the movie has broken another record by collecting RM22 million in just 11 days. This makes "Ip Man 3" the highest-grossing Chinese movie of all time in Malaysia. It also currently holds the top spot at the local weekend box office for the second consecutive week, beating the much raved about "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", which has to settle at the second spot after the martial arts movie's release. Though it was said that this could be the final instalment of the franchise, due to its success, it is reported that producer Raymond Wong is interested in making a fourth outing, though main actor Donnie Yen is unsure to return. Distributed by Lotus Five Star, "Ip Man 3" stars Donnie Yen as the titular character, who this time around has to face a crooked property developer, played by former professional boxer Mike Tyson, and a Wing Chun rival, played by rising action star Max Zhang.
