20 Dec – "Suicide Squad" star Margot Robbie has reportedly tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Tom Ackerley in a closed ceremony in Australia. For those of you who don't know, Tom Ackerley is a British filmmaker who is known for his contribution as assistant director in film such as Macbeth, The Brother's Grimsby, and Chris Hemsworth starrer "Rush". This was according to the Telegraph that wrote "the actress allegedly got hitched to the British filmmaker in a secret wedding near the town of Dalby, where she grew up". "It is believed that she got engaged to the director over the summer, and returned from London to Australia for the nuptials," reported Telegraph. The report seems to hold water as recently Margot Robbie's brother, Cameron, posted a picture of him and four other women believed to be Robbie's friend which he captioned as "The calm before the summer storm". To add to that, Ackerley's brother James posted a picture on Instagram tagging the location as Harvest Newrybar, which according to the Telegraph, is a famous wedding venue in Byron Bay, Australia. The news site also claimed that the couples met each other back in 2013 while they were working on World War 2 film "Suite Française" in Belgium and France. "The Wolf of Wall Street" star just fresh from winning the 'Best Actress in an Action Movie' in the Critics' Choice Awards seems to be equally focused on her career and her relationship as well. With several anticipated upcoming project, the recent announcement was that she is set to reprise her role as super villain Harley Quinn in a "Gotham City Siren" adaptation helmed by "Suicide Squad" director, David Ayre.
