Grand Brilliance announces new general manager

Meet the new GM of Grand Brilliance, Nor Shahilah Harun Shah.

20 Apr – Grand Brilliance, Malaysia's biggest film production house, announced just last week on their Facebook page that they have a new general manager of film production.

Primework Studios (PWS) appointed Nor Shahilah Harun Shah as the new general manager to lead Grand Brilliance.

In regards to her new position, the CEO of Primeworks Studios, Ahmad Izham Omar, said: "Nor's experience and understanding in creating engaging content will help us push the boundaries of our storytelling, in line with our motto-Asian stories for the world."

Nor has 28 years of experience in the filmmaking industry. Her focus has always been on delivering content that caters to both local and international audiences as a way of making Malaysian-made films more globally known, according to Marketing Interactive.

She was formerly Media Prima Group's general manager of content development, talent management and alt record. Back then, she was responsible for generating and facilitating a whole new generation of content for four different TV channels under Media Prima.

Prior to that, Nor had taken over various senior leadership positions-such as senior producer, head of production, executive producer and manager-not only within Media prima, but in other media companies as well.

Now, Nor's new role will include overseeing Grand Brilliance's every film project from conception to completion as well as its marketing and distribution processes.
