25 Aug – The highly-anticipated spin-off of Zack Snyder's "Army of the Dead" has now been given a release date.

The upcoming movie, "Army of Thieves", which is a zombie-less movie that will have the timeline years before the events of the original movie, will be releasing on 29 October on Netflix - just in time for Halloween.

Starring Matthias Schweighöfer in his "Army of the Dead" role of German safe-cracker Ludwig Dieter, the upcoming movie will also star "Game of Thrones" alumna Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin and Jonathan Cohen.

The synopsis read, "In this prequel to Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol's most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe."
