2 Apr – With his success in transitioning from TV into an Oscar-worthy actor, Steven Yeun's next goal seems to be becoming a box office star as well. Deadline recently reported that the actor, most known by TV fans as Glenn from "The Walking Dead", is currently in talks to star in an upcoming project by Jordan Peele, most known for his universally loved horror movies, "Us" and "Get Out". While no details have been revealed regarding the upcoming project, it was revealed that Peele will also be producing, directing and writing the new movie. If everything goes well, Yeun will be joining Keke Palmer, who is already confirmed to star.
On the other hand, it was reported that Daniel Kaluuya is also currently in negotiation to be a part of the movie, which will mark his second collaboration with Peele after the 2017's "Get Out". The said movie is scheduled for July 2022 release.
Yeun has been winning praises left and right since he left the AMC show in 2016, having starred in critically acclaimed movies such as the Korean thriller, "Burning" as well as the American drama "Minari" - the latter which had since earned six nominations at the 93rd Academy Awards including a Best Actor nomination for Yeun. His latest film, "The Humans" is currently in post-production.
