4 Jun – Although "Jupiter's Legacy" did not go farther than one season, its creator Mark Millar recently assured that Netflix is not done with his works just yet. In a statement released on Twitter, the Scottish comic book writer stated that he is now working on a live-action adaptation of "Supercrooks", which will take place in the same fictional world of the aforementioned series, but will focus instead on villains. "I'm really proud of what the team achieved with Jupiter's Legacy and the amazing work everyone did on that origin season," Millar wrote. "I've been asked a lot about what we're planning next with this world, and the answer is to see what the super-villains are getting up to."
As for "Jupiter's Legacy", Millar stated that he is confident that they will return to it later, although the cast, including Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, and Ben Daniels have already been let go. It was back in 2017 that Millar, who is also known for his other works like "Kick-Ass" and "Kingsman", sold his Millarworld company to Netflix and announced their giant projects that include series based on "Jupiter's Legacy" and "American Jesus", as well as film adaptations of "Empress" and "Huck".
