17 May – Jackie Chan is set to star in the sequel to his 2005 movie, "The Myth".

The action star will be teaming up with the original director Stanley Tong in the new movie, which has been titled, "A Legend", which will also star Zhang Yixing and Guli Nazha.

The film also has a budget of USD 50 million, considered a hefty amount for the Chinese film industry.

In "A Legend", Jackie will reprise his role as archaeology expert named Jack, and just like the first movie, it begins with a dream that he has, except this time it would be about a jade pendant and not an imperial concubine.

"The Myth" made USD 120 million at the box office when it was released back in 2005. In the movie, Jackie plays two characters, a military general named Meng Yi and an archeologist named Jack.

The original also co-stars Korean actors Kim Hee-Sun and Choi Min-Soo, Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat, and fellow Hong Konger Tony Leung Ka Fai.
