17 Feb – Universal Pictures is set to produce another "How To Train Your Dragon" movie, and this time, it's going to be live action. Director Dean DeBlois, who wrote and helmed the four "How To Train Your Dragon" animated features, will be returning as the director and writer for the latest entry, with "La La Land" producer Marc Platt producing the project. The movie is slated for release in March 2025. Based on the books by Cressida Cowell, the first film tells the story of the down-on-his-luck Viking boy named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and his friendship with Toothless, the injured dragon that he nurses back to health. The franchise generated more than USD 1.6 billion, and spawned three TV series including "DreamWorks Dragons" and "Rescue Riders".
