16 Aug - After almost a year since the death of "Friends" star, Matthew Perry, several people have now been charged in connection to his death.

It was revealed that of the five who were charged, one was the late actor's 59-year-old live-in assistant and the other two are doctors. They were accused of having taken advantage of Perry's addiction and had provided him with the amounts of ketamine that they knowingly knew to be dangerous.

Another individual was alleged to be an underground drug dealer known as the "ketamine queen," according to reports.

It was late last year that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office released its toxicology report, in which the late actor was revealed to have died from "the acute effects of ketamine". In addition, the medical examiner's office also revealed that there were other contributing factors in the "Friends" actor's death, including drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine, which is used to treat opioid use disorder.

The late actor who played Chandler in the highly successful sitcom passed away in late October 2023, with the police saying that there was no sign of foul play or drugs at the scene.
