21 Oct - Gauri Khan has been honoured with the Best Interior Designer award at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 2024.

The interior designer, who is also the wife of Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan, was awarded for her significant contributions to the industry and "celebrates her inspiring journey as a self-made entrepreneur."

Speaking to the audience during the event, Gauri expressed, "My design journey began when I was only 40. So, to all the women out there - age should never ever hold you back. If you start any business that should never come in your way. And if you dream it you can achieve it. That's my mantra."

Aside from Gauri, other stars who were honoured at the event include Kriti Sanon, who won Best Actor and Ananya Panday, who won Spotlight Actor.

Gauri, who started interior designing as a hobby when she was renovating her and SRK's residence in Bandra that they called Mannat, started a business venture in 2010 with Susanne Khan. She then launches her own design studio, "Gauri Khan Designs in August 2017.
