8 Jan - Julia Garner has found her new project after her anticipated Madonna biopic has been delayed indefinitely. The actress, most known for her performance in Netflix's "Inventing Anna" and "Ozark" will now star in the Blumhouse werewolf thriller "Wolf Man", to be directed by Leigh Whannell ("Invisible Man", "Insidious: Chapter 3").
Garner will play the role of a woman whose family is terrorised by a predator. Christopher Abbot, whom has worked with Garner in "Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene" to play her husband. It is noted that prior to Abbott and Garner, it was reported that Ryan Gosling was supposed to star in the movie, before he was replaced by Abbott. "Wolf Man" is slated for October 2024 release.
