16 Jan – "Pendekar Awang: Darah Indera Gajah" is making bank not three days after it was released in cinemas. Sharing the good news on social media on 15 January, Studio Kembara stated that the movie made RM 2.4 million in just 56 hours after it was released in cinemas nationwide. "A lot of people love the movie! Watch Pendekar Awang: Darah Indera Gajah in cinemas near you now!" the studio posted on Instagram.
One of the main casts, Nur Fazura, also took to social media to express her gratitude over the reception. She wrote, "Praise be to God. Thank you, my beloved Malaysians, for your spirit!" In the movie, Fattah Amin reprises his "Mat Kilau" role as Pendekar Awang, who is tasked to ensure Tok Gajah's safe journey to Terengganu from Pahang after the British directs an order for his capture. The movie co-stars Nadhir Nasar, Wan Hanafi Su, Heliza Helmi, and others.
