23 Apr – Syafiq Yusof's film "Sheriff: Narko Integriti" continues to record great success when it managed to collect RM16.3 million after four days of screening plus an early screening since 18 April. Chairman of Skop Productions and Executive Producer, Datuk Yusof Haslam said, "Thank God for the overwhelming response to the movie. We, along with the cast, visited cinemas around the Klang Valley last weekend, and were very excited and moved to see the unexpected reaction of the audience from various ages and backgrounds."
"Although fans and media alike have started speculating about the box office taking, it is still too early to set high hopes and we are always grateful for this positive momentum. Thanks to everyone for supporting this film," he added.
In "Sheriff", a Narcotics Department officer named Nazri gets desperate to solve a drug syndicate led by Tony Ifrit before he escapes the grip of the law. At the same time, Sheriff, a member of the Integrity Department was sent by the Inspector-General of Police to solve the 'Meth Killer' case and is then assigned with Nazri to be under one department. They suspect that the Meth Killer might be hiding among the ranks of the Narcotics Department itself.
