13 Aug - Shah Rukh Khan has recently shared a little titbit about his upcoming project, "King", which will mark his first film since the release of "Dunki" last year. The actor, who sat down for a masterclass conversation with Locarno Film Festival director Giona A. Nazzaro after being honoured with the Pardo Alla Carriera award, revealed that the upcoming film, which will also star his daughter Suhana Khan, will be helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is noted that the filmmaker, known for "Jhankaar Beats" and "Kahaani", previously directed the SRK Red Chillies' produced "Badla".
"There's a certain kind of film I want to do, where maybe it's more age-centric, and I want to try something, for six, seven years, I've been thinking about it, and I mentioned it to Sujoy one day... and he says that I have a subject. So, it's as simple as that," he said about the upcoming film.
Meanwhile, when asked about his view of stardom, the actor, who has millions of fans around the world, stated, "I wear stardom like a T-shirt, not like a tuxedo. It's not important, and it's there. I'm careless about it, and it's very nice, and I hope it remains." He stressed that stardom is a byproduct of his work and not the goal itself.
