"Ne Zha 2" breaks RM50 million at Malaysian box office

9 Apr - "Ne Zha 2" continues to soar in the global box office including in Malaysia, after it was reported that the film has now crossed RM50 million at the box office.

The movie, which has now become the all-time number one animated film in Malaysia, has been showing in 136 cinema locations in Malaysian cinemas since 13 March and is still showing until today.

The Chinese animated film has already surpassed many Hollywood movies in the global box office. It has now entered top five of the highest-grossing film of all-time list, besting even the likes of "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home".

At USD 2.12 billion, the movie is slowly creeping up on James Cameron's "Titanic", which made USD 2.25 billion in 1997.
