19 Mar - After a 20-year hiatus, Will Smith recently announced that he is dropping a new album.

Sharing the good news on social media with the cover of the album titled, "Based on a True Story", Smith expressed, "It's OFFICIAL!! My new album Based On A True Story drops March 28. TWO WEEKS!! Hit that presave."

"Been working on this project for a minute and I'm itchin' to get it out to y'all," he added.

The actor also revealed the list of songs in the post, which include the previously released, "Beautiful Scars", as well as several collaborations including with son Jaden.

Smith, who came to prominence in the 1980s as part of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, has released multiple solo albums that went platinum, from "Big Willie Style" (1997), "Willenium" (1999) to "Born to Reign" (2002).

However, the actor decided to focus on his career after the release of 2005's "Lost and Found".
