The Good, the Bad and the Sly Sherlock:

• A decent attempt at making a different kind of Lunar New Year film. The idea of the movie is commendable, but the film itself is dragged down by miscast actors.

• Some of the stars are not skilled enough to handle lengthy scripts or conversations. Teresa Mo and Eric Tsang are the only ones that are able to handle the long scripts intelligent scripting.

• The production design of the film is inspiring. Especially the costumes that make the film look more colourful. There are a few exaggerated scenes accompanied with some random funny scenes as well.
