This marks the first time the robot cat appears in a 3D feature film as well as the final time for it to do so, as this film also marks the end of the franchise`s 45-year run. It will be a bittersweet moment for Doraemon fans, especially during the tear-inducing moment when the blue alien cat tells its human best friend Nobita that it can`t stay on earth anymore and will soon be leaving.
