The Tag-Along

Wei`s grandma has disappeared but strangely the house is well-kept as if she has never left. Wei checks her camera and sees a video showing her being followed by a mysterious little girl in red. In an odd turn of events, Wei goes missing when his grandma returns home and his girlfriend discovers that their disappearances might be linked to an urban legend about the little girl.
Nenek Wei telah hilang tetapi peliknya rumahnya masih dijaga dengan baik sekali seperti dia tidak pernah hilang. Wei kemudian memeriksa kamera neneknya dan menjumpai video yang memperlihatkan neneknya diekori oleh budak perempuan misteri berbaju merah. Dalam satu kejadian pelik, Wei pula hilang apabila neneknya pulang ke rumah. Teman wanitanya mendapati kehilangan mereka mungkin ada kaitan dengan cerita lagenda mengenai budak perempuan misteri itu.

The Good, the Bad and the Little Girl in Red Dress:

• The film may appeal more to Chinese audiences more due to their familiarity with the Chinese folklore that this film is based upon.

• Debutant director Cheng Wei-hao did an amazing interpretation of an old folklore and ingested some contemporary elements while at the same time effectively educate the people with moving lessons.

• The thrills and scares and creatively crafted as the movie is filled with unsettling psychological suspense.

Trivia:

• The film is based on the Taiwanese folk-lore of mountain spirits that often incite people to become lost.
