University student Nanase Nobata doesn`t have a close relationship with her father Kei, despite living together in the same house. Kei, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, one day hatches a plan to catch the person trying to steal from his company. It requires him to take a drug that will kill him, but only for two days, and then he will be resurrected. When his plan fails and he returns as a ghost instead, Nanase must work with Taku Matsuoka, a staff from Kei`s company, to find a way to restore his life.

Biarpun tinggal bersama, hubungan pelajar universiti Nobata Nanase dan bapanya, Kei, agak tegang. Suatu hari, Kei yang merupakan CEO sebuah syarikat farmaseutikal, cuba menyiasat siapa yang cuba mencuri dalam syarikatnya. Untuk itu, dia telah minum sejenis dadah yang akan mematikannya dan hidup semula dua hari selepas itu. Namun rancangannya gagal apabila Kei hidup semula sebagai hantu. Nanase cuba mendapatkan bapanya semula dengan bantuan seorang pekerja di syarikat bapanya, Matsuoka Taku.
