24 Mar - Disney has recently announced another sequel, as "Coco", the beloved Disney and Pixar 2017 animated feature, will now have movie number two.

The announcement was made on 20 March by CEO Bob Iger during The Walt Disney Company's Annual Meeting of Shareholders, saying, "While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humour, heart and adventure. And we can't wait to share more soon."

The upcoming sequel will reunite the original team including director Lee Unkrich and co-director Adrian Molina. It will also be produced by "Inside Out 2" producer, Mark Nielsen.

The 2017 film revolves around 12-year-old Miguel who dreams of being a musician despite it being banned for generations in his family. After he was accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, Miguel finds the truth behind their family secret.

"Coco", which features the voice talents of Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal and Benjamin Bratt, won two Academy Awards including Best Original Song for "Remember Me".
