13 Mar - It looks like another one of Stephen King's novel-turned-movie is getting a reboot, after Netflix greenlit the remake of "Cujo".

The film, which will be produced by Roy Lee, is adapted from King's psychological horror novel of the same name that was released in 1981.

It tells a story of a mother and son who has to fight off a rabid St Bernard while trapped in their car.

"Cujo" was made into film in 1983, and starred Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro as the mother and son duo. Though it received mixed reviews when it was released, the film had since received a cult following.

A trivia about "Cujo" - Stephen King once joked about the novel in his book "On Writing" that he barely remembers writing the story as he was struggling with alcohol addiction at the time.
