21 Feb – It looks like Hollywood is still in love with the idea of revamping, rebooting and making sequels, as Will Smith revealed that he has discussed the possibility of a sequel to his 2008 movie, "Hancock". The actor shared as much on xQc's Twitch live stream recently revealing that they have a "really, really cool 'Hancock 2' idea". "We haven't even talked about it so I'm [going to] give you one little piece - Zendaya is being approached for a role in 'Hancock 2'," he said.
The 2008 "Hancock" stars Smith as John Hancock, a reckless superhero whose chaotic efforts have made him wildly unpopular. However, his life changes when a PR expert (Jason Bateman) offers to help him improve his public image. It co-stars Charlize Theron, Jae Head, Eddie Marsan and many others. The movie, which was made on a USD 150 million budget, made USD 629.4 million at the box office. Sony had no comment on reports of a sequel.
