Another Snow White film!

Writer: Naseem Randhawa

"Order Of The Seven" will be 2012's third adaptation of the popular fairytale story of Snow White.

6 Aug – Walt Disney Studios is joining the sudden Snow White adaptation craze, with their own film tentatively titled "Order Of The Seven", according to a report on ScreenRant website.

"Order Of The Seven" is said to portray the dwarfs as 19th century warriors in China being chased by an ancient evil and will focus more on the seven warriors while keeping the Snow White fairytale elements to a minimum.

Francis Lawrence, who recently directed "Water for Elephants," was once attached, but now commercial director Michael Gracey is reportedly set to helm the production, while "Toy Story 3" writer Michael Arndt is said to have given the script a fresh re-write earlier this year.

With production not slated to begin until next year, it'll definitely be the last "Snow White" movie to make it on big screen before the other two previously planned adaptations. Relativity's Snow White film, with Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lily Collins as Snow White, is set to hit cinemas in March, 2012.

Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman," starring Kristen Stewart in the lead role, Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, and Chris Hemsworth, is slated for June, 2012.
