6 May – "Ant-Man" is currently scheduled to arrive at the end of 2015, but it has been revealed that some more work will need to be done to the script to account for the changes to the rest of the Marvel cinematic universe.
"[Director] Edgar Wright has done a great job being incredibly true to the comics but is putting his own spin on it, so we'll be drawing on multiple mythologies for this one," says Kevin Feige the head of Marvel Studios. Edgar Wright has directed great cult classic films like "Hot Fuzz", "Shaun of the Dead" and "Scott Pilgrim" and he will take on to directing the new superhero movie for Marvel as his new project. Kevin Feige also talked about casting for the film, "We've talked about various names over the past eight years, but as you can imagine, they keep changing as time goes by. But toward the end of this year, we'll buckle down and start casting and start refining the script." Having been delayed numerous times as Marvel's plans evolved around it, "Ant-Man" is expected to finally open in theatres in 2015.
