GSC IOI City Mall to open in 2014

6 Mar – Just yesterday, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has officially confirmed the setting up of a 13-screen cineplex in the upcoming IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, targeted for opening in October 2014.

GSC has also announced that this 13-screen location will have a capacity of 2,350 seats, and will be located on the same floor as other outlets in the mall. According to a representative of IOI Group, there will be special lifts situated in and near the cineplex to take moviegoers to the basement, where all the car parks are located should their movies end after operation hours.

When opened in October 2014, GSC IOI City Mall will be the second cineplex in Putrajaya after the 8-screen GSC Alamanda, in presinct 1, which opened in April 2007.
