12 May – "Avengers: Age of Ultron" comes out on top once again at the U.S., Malaysia and Singapore box office charts for 7 to 10 May. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie has to date made USD875.8 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo stats. It surpassed the USD500 million mark recently even before it opened in the Japanese and Chinese markets. Last weekend, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" collected USD77.7 million in the U.S., securing its hold on the top spot. Trailing behind in its avenging dust is newly released Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara-starrer "Hot Pursuit"; the comedy placed second but only made USD13.9 million. Eternally youthful "The Age of Adaline" maintains its everlasting grip on the third place with USD5.8 million.
