13 Apr – Moviegoers in Sitiawan, Perak can now breathe a sigh of relief as they can finally go to the movies without leaving the region. Lotus Five Star Cinemas yesterday opened its new location in Sitiawan. LFS Sitiawan has a total of four halls with a seating capacity of 812. The halls are equipped with Dolby 7.1 and Dolby 5.1 surround sound system. Currently, cinema patrons can catch the newly-released "Fast and Furious 8" at the new location. While there is only the one title showing at the moment, movie fans can expect to see more local, Indian and Hollywood titles at the cinema soon. LFS Sitiawan is the fifth LFS location in Perak, with the first four being LFS Kampar, LFS Kerian Sentral in Parit Buntar, LFS Seri Iskandar in Bandar Seri Iskandar, and LFS Seri Kinta in Ipoh. It is also currently the only cinema operating in Sitiawan, Perak.
