6 Jul – The highly-anticipated sequel to "Train to Busan" will only be hitting cinemas next week but prior to that, director Yeon Sang-ho and his "Peninsula" stars will be participating in a Q&A with global fans this Thursday. The hour-long TwitterBlueroom LIVE Q&A session for "Peninsula" is taking place this 9 July, at 8pm KST. With conversations led by director Yeon, actor Kang Dong-won and singer-actress Lee Jung-hyun, this marks the first K-movie to join a global live streaming on #TwitterBlueroom. Fans from around the world can join in by tweeting their questions to the trio with the hashtag #ASK_Peninsula or via the live streaming chat. As this is a global event, English subtitles will be provided. Apart from answering fans' questions, the director and stars will also introduce the movie and their characters, as well as conduct a post-review of the selected fan-art from the previously held global fan-art challenge with participation from 41 countries. The South Korean zombie action thriller is set to be among the first major titles to be released following cinemas' reopening after months of closure due to the pandemic. It will hit the big screen in Malaysia on 16 July and a day prior in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. To commemorate its upcoming release in 185 countries and its invitation to the Cannes International Film Festival, Twitter has also launched a series of special "Peninsula" emojis.
