3 Nov – It looks like Chris Pratt is going to portray another one of your childhood favourites, as it was announced that the actor has signed on to voice the famous lazy cat Garfield in an upcoming animated feature of the orange comic strip character. The upcoming "Garfield" animated movie will be directed by Mark Dindal ("Emperor's New Groove") and to be distributed globally by Sony Pictures. It is noted that the famous character has been adapted numerous times before, including the 20th Century Fox live-action film, "Garfield: The Movie" (2004) and "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties" (2006), which had Bill Murray voicing the titular character.
It was just last month that Pratt was revealed to have been cast to voice the character Mario for the upcoming "Super Mario Bros." animated film. The actor is set to appear in Universal Pictures' "Jurassic World: Dominion" and "The Terminal List" next, and will soon begin filming the third instalment of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy". Sam's shoes for this movie that I am deeply in love with," he said.
