27 May – After much speculation, it was revealed that Austin Butler is joining the cast of "Dune: Part Two".

The news was confirmed by the actor himself in an interview with the New York Times, saying that he is currently taking knife training for his role as Feyd Rautha.

In the original novel, Feyd Rautha Harkonnen is the last Baron of House Harkonnen, and the antagonist to Timothee Chalamet's Paul Atreides.

Prior to Butler, it was pop star Sting who played the role in the 1984 version.

Butler's role is one of the last to be filled after the movie previously confirmed Florence Pugh and Christopher Walken as Princess Irulan and Emperor Shaddam IV, respectively.

On the other hand, Butler is currently busy promoting his new biopic, "Elvis", in which he plays the titular Rock and Roll royalty.
