29 Sep – Were you one of those Bollywood loving fans who enjoyed Hrithik Roshan in movies like "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai", "Yaadein" or "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and thought he was the next best thing since Shah Rukh Khan's extended arms? Well, according to the actor recently, he actually cringed every time he watched his old movies. "I don't know how my previous works have received so much love," said Hrithik. "I am extremely critical of my performance. But yes, I've never been disappointed by my performance."
However, the "Vikram Vedha" star stated that he has learned from his mistakes and improved his crafts over the years. "The more mistakes I've made, they have only helped me grow more. I am so grateful for the 22 years in the industry, and I am keen on doing more good work and be part of relevant stories," he added. In another interview, the son of director Rakesh Roshan stated, "When I was starting out, I was probably aspiring to be a star and to be acknowledged with that kind of success. Today, I aspire for to succeed as an actor. I want to know that I have grown. I want to know that I have been able to satisfy my director and audience in terms of my job and my promise in order to be a star. My job is to be an actor."
